I am the current Music Therapy Intern at Cincinnati Children's Hospital, and an alum of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College.  Music has been a huge part of my life since I started playing the trumpet 18 years ago. Over the years I have also learned how to play drumset, piano, ukulele, guitar, cello, and other miscellaneous percussive instruments. I believe that we music therapy students can be even more effective when we have more to offer our clients, much like the idea of having more colors to choose from on a painting easel. It is my goal to incorporate some less popular genres of music into music therapy applications as a way to spark creativity with my fellow peers and to build our musical selves.
